Paramount Pictures has teamed with VRWERX, a division of Beast Media Group, to create a Paranormal Activity virtual reality video game.
Beast MG launched its VRWERX division to focus specifically on virtual reality content, and the Paranormal Activity game will be released in 2016 for all major head-mounted VR displays including HTC Vive, Sony’s Project Morpheus and Oculus Rift, as well as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile.
Paranormal Activity is the second highest-grossing horror franchise of all time and has earned more than $800 million worldwide to date. The sixth film in the series, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, will hit cinemas in October.
